STEM Learning Center

The STEM learning center attempts to equip the next generation of eager minds in rural India and to provide them with technical skills that encourage critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) learning center will be set up in the campus of a Government Boarding school in Udhawa town, Dahanu taluka in Palghar district. A total of 600 girls and boys in the age group of 6 to 12 years from the boarding school and the neighboring schools will have access to study at this STEM Learning center, based on a structured schedule from 8am to 6pm.

During this time, they will learn through hands on experience and by the e-learning systems at the Mini Science Centers that will be available in the STEM Learning Center. They will be assisted and guided by the GPCT teachers and will also be provided with a nutritious meal during the break between sessions at the center.

This hands-on learning approach will positively impact the students understanding of various concepts and theories of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
